A well established engineering/manufacturing operations supplying premium products to a wide variety of industrial clients.
1. To co-ordinate the overall quality control activities of the Company including the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the standards of various external regulatory bodies and customers, and to ensure continued relevance to the business.
2. To supervise and control of the day-to-day activities of the Quality Department 3. To ensure that components, sub assemblies and assembled products comply with agreed company standards or specific customer contract requirements. 4. To facilitate Company wide adoption and support of the QMS to improve levels of customer satisfaction.
• Proven experience in the management of the complete range of quality activities within a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing methods including continuous improvement techniques and Operational Excellence. • Excellent interpersonal skills to enhance relationships with customers, suppliers, external bodies and other departments within the Company. • Technical qualification in engineering or similar subject area to HNC standard or above, or relevant experience confirming technical expertise to an equivalent level. • Preferably an additional qualification in a quality-related area.
