A major Financial service company in South Wales.
Reporting to: Head Of Change Analysis
Shaping and evaluating ideas, initiating and obtaining funding for all Cards impacting change from across the organisation for a designated portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring that there is an insightful and robust view of the end to end requirements, design and required delivery capabilities for an interrelated portfolio of change projects and initiatives ranging from organisational and process design to large scale technology investments.
Managing the delivery of all analysis and requirements deliverables up to and including the Design approval point of Business Investment Proposals (BIP3s) directly contributing to their content for a material percentage of their time (e.g. 40%+)
Contributes to planning rounds, organisational infrastructure and strategy reviews, competency reviews ensuring the right projects are initiated and are able to deliver prioritised business benefits.
Providing effective oversight, direction, guidance and facilitation to key stakeholders in relation to key scoping decisions where solution options available in relation to benefits and costs that can be delivered
Managing effective relationships with all internal and external business and technology areas impacted by change proposals to determine feasibility, costs and benefits, and capability requirements.
Successfully obtaining funding for change and commitments to deliver.
Contributing directly to continuous improvement of the quality and speed of change analysis by leading by example, improving the skills of the analysis team, setting process standards and ensuring compliance with Group best practice in initiation, approval and design processes across the change department
Analytically capable – passes internal analysis benchmark test, educated to degree level
Knowledge in business change, the credit card business & ideally wider retail banking environment
Inquisitive/curious attitude – desire to work out what could be done
Evidence of strong interpersonal & influencing skills up to Level 8 critical to success in role
Ability to turn ambiguous strategic priorities or business needs into concrete proposals
Able to work with pace of change in customers insights and needs, but also help them understand the necessities of project delivery, and constrained resources
