The company

My client is a traditional manufacturing business part of a large multi national organisation.

The role

Provide Support to the Manufacturing process. Deliver & Support Contract Quality Conditions including Quality Plans. Advise/Coach Quality Principles throughout Manufacturing. Provide Quality Resource Management. Provide Quality Support through all Processes. Point of Contact for on Site MOD Representatives. Support/Co-ordinate Customer Complaints. Manage & Conduct Audits throughout the Manufacturing Process. Promote & Coach Continuous Improvement. Manage/Co-ordinate Corrective & Preventive Action. Manage/Co-ordinate Concession/Production Permit Action. Manage/Co-ordinate Non Conformity through SAP. Support the facilitation of Scrap/Re-work through SAP. Provide Performance Measures as and when required. Manage/Support Customer Visits/Audits as and when required. Support Assessments as and when Required. Support Incidents/Investigations as and when required. Co-ordinate Product Release. Support/Promote Safe Working Conditions and Initiatives at all Times. Maintain Data to support the various Management Meetings.

Candidate requirements

Educated to graduate level or equivalent, will have a technical background in either manufacturing design or manufacturing engineering within a high volume environment.

Must be fully conversant with ISO 9000 and ISO 14001.

Strong intellect allied to a well developed interpersonal capabilities and a strategic vision is essential, as is the ability to influence change and build effective working relationships.

A strong communicator with genuine gravitas within an organisation.

Must have a passion for quality and continuous improvement and Participate in the maintenance of a training and awareness programme to Operations/Project Management, Sales and Quality staff on the roles and responsibilities of quality within the organisation.
