Part of a major financial services organisation.
Drive strategy and deliver plans for third party online sales, to include affiliate networks, search engines, aggregators and online advertising Management of all external third party relationships and contracts with regards to online acquisition Development of strategic initiatives to drive improvements in performance of the channels Ownership of performance for the channel, to include both volume and value metrics Drive business requirements for development and enhancement of the channel, working closely with colleagues in development and delivery Own analytics for the channel, driving clear requirements and resulting outputs to allow for effective communication of results and to drive performance management Develop strong relationships with relevant departments at Retail business level, and within the business to ensure success of initiatives Management of all elements of MI and reporting for the channel to include sales, budgets and communications Ownership of key metrics, working closely with colleagues in finance and risk to challenge assumptions and practices to drive improvements Responsible for driving multi million benefits through improvements to key metrics
Experience of negotiating with and managing third parties in the online environment at a senior level, including Board level Clear and deep understanding of all online acquisition methods in the financial services industry to include search (natural and paid), affiliates, aggregators and online advertising Experience of managing multi-million pound budgets effectively Demonstrable success in online customer acquisition and early life cycle management Highly financially literate with experience of managing customer value metrics You will network effectively and use your contacts to help you develop creative and effective solutions Experience of managing both direct reports and broader relationships to deliver to target and drive the business forward Strategic vision – ability to demonstrate clear step change delivered Ability to convert strategy into action, with demonstrable experience of insight driving action Results focussed and able to co-ordinate across the business to ensure focus from other departments Excellent interpersonal skills – with the ability to influence at all levels A team player who can demonstrate excellent influencing and communication skills.
