The company

Our client a leading employee benefit consultancy is looking for an Investment Consultant to join their rapidly growing Exeter office.

The role

In this role you will manage relationships for a portfolio of pension clients. You will work very closely with these clients formulating investment advice. This will include some specific project based assignments. You will act as a day to day contact for clients and be responsible for the provision of routine advice. The role requires you to prepare reports and to be able to lead team and client meetings. You will be expected to make some contribution to the leadership of the business through research and development and will contribute to the growth of the business through marketing and new business initiatives. This will include the composure of tender documents and presentations. You will also support more senior consultants with some larger accounts.

Candidate requirements

To apply you will be educated to degree level, likely to be Mathematics, Economics or Business biased. Some progress with a professional qualification or willingness to do so is preferred. These could include FIA/CFA/IMC. You’ll possess some experience of the investment world and will probably be working currently within a consultancy, fund management group or banking firm. You must possess excellent communication skills.
