In this role with a very well known financial services company based within Bristol you will provide support and guidance in regards to FSA requirements, Data Protection and other regulatory issues.
Your role will include the with the following duties
• To interpret regulatory rules and guidance and convey impact to business. • To provide clear, pragmatic guidance and support to the business on regulatory issues. • To manage the follow up on remedial action. • To provide support and guidance to the business. • To identify regulatory change, assess applicability to business and assist the business in identifying impact and implementation plans. • To advise on the development of, review and approve operational procedures and processes. • To contribute to the development and delivery of the Compliance Plan. • To assist in the drafting of responses to Regulators. • To manage compliance department projects, as required.
Suitable candidates will currently be working within a risk area, looking at FSA papers and turning this into credible policy. You’ll be accustomed to looking at rules and analysis. You’ll be technically very competent and a good team player who is used to using their own initiative and getting their hands dirty.
